advice for a holiday in the canaries?
thinking of going to the Canaries Oct-Nov.we are looking for a quiet relaxing break,away from all shops,pubs,clubs etc.also not in a holiday complex or large hotel, tall order, but can anyone help?
Make sure you visit Lanzarote or Fuertaventura. The others are quite busy.
Lanzarote has a lot of art work by Cesar Manrique on the island. He was from there and you can visit his home which is built into a volcanic rock formation. He also did other wonderful artwork around the island. Costa Teguise is quite quiet, but has enough to do.
There are quite alot of small little places to stay.
Good luck, and take a cardigan for the evenings.
